How are qualitative factors taken into consideration?

A student’s qualitative factors also influence a balanced college list. That’s why Counselors can add these important parameters to reflect how schools are categorized for their students.

Using Counselor Adjustments, Counselors make student-by-student changes for applicant hook, special talent or circumstance, demonstrated interest, choice of major, and more. This gives Counselors control over how schools are re-categorized when the hard data alone needs an adjustment.

Counselors can let their students see their reason for the adjustment, or keep it private. Either way, the adjustment is active throughout all of the student’s plan iterations.
