    Connect Cialfo Historical Admissions Data to Student Plans in College Kickstart

     

    If your historical admissions data is exported from Cialfo, we recommend exporting an applications report that includes student email.

     

    1. Export your historical admissions data

     

    1. Navigate to the report by going to the navigation bar on the left, find More and then Insights. Under Insights, look for Applications, and click the Applications option.

       

    2. To filter by classes you want to include in the report, click on the "Graduation Year" dropdown and select the classes you would like to include in the report.

       

    3. Scroll down until you find a table called Applications Master List. To export the report, click on the icon with 3 horizontal dots and choose the CSV option. 
       



       

    4. Verify the report includes the following columns:
      - Graduation Year
      - Student Name
      - Student Email
      - College Name
      - Enrollment
      - Result
      - Student Decision
      - Unweighted GPA (4.0) and/or Student GPA Weighted
      - High SAT 1600
      - High ACT
      - Student Cialfo ID
      - Flags
       

    NOTE: Ideally the Student Email column should include the same emails that are used when you add and create student accounts in College Kickstart. 

     

     

     

    2. Upload your outcomes

     

    1. Navigate to the Outcomes Upload Wizard by going to Admin > Reports > Upload. Note this is a separate upload from the Local Context Upload Wizard.
       


       

    2. Start the upload wizard and choose the CSV file of the Applications Master List report you exported from Cialfo. After validating the file, continue to click next until you get to the Student ID tab. 
      If you have questions about the custom GPA tab, refer to this section in a different article. 
       
    3. On the Student ID tab, select the student email option in the dropdown and click next to continue.
       


      If the dropdown is disabled, it usually means a column was already chosen during a previous upload. The Upload Wizard will save your selection after the first time you complete this step for future uploads. If you need to change the selected column or your file no longer has the column, please contact support and we can update the column selection for you. Include your CSV file in your request for our team to assist efficiently. 

      If your report does not include a student email column, go back to our main article and check the steps by available data section and look for different steps based on data that is present in your CSV.
       

    4. After the Student ID tab, continue through the next few tabs and finish the upload. For more info about the Apps and Admittances tab, click here. For more info about the Define Hooks tab, click here. 

     

     

     

    3. Verify data is connected to plans

    After finishing the Outcomes Upload Wizard, College Kickstart will start connecting your historical admissions data from Cialfo to available student plans in College Kickstart with the student email. You can check if you've successfully connected data by checking CK360 and going to the Admit Rates by Category visualization. 

     

    If the charts are not initially populated with data, you can try refreshing the page to see if the data loads. If you still see a message asking for data, you can contact your Relationship Manager and support@collegekickstart.com. Include the CSV file uploaded for the Outcomes Upload Wizard in your request, and we'll do our best to resolve connecting your data.
