    How do I clear my web browser cache?

    Before clearing your cache, please log out of College Kickstart and quit your web  browser. (On Mac, quit the web browser with Command + "Q"). Ensure that your web browser is not open in other desktops or spaces.

     

    Google Chrome

    • For Windows, on your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
    • For Mac, on your keyboard, press Command + Shift + Delete
    • Select the longest time range ("All time"). Make sure the "Cached images and files" option is checked before clicking Delete data.
    • If you are concerned about losing login information or getting signed out of other sites, verify that the checkboxes for 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Passwords and other sign-in data' are unselected before clicking Delete data.
    • As a precaution, verify you have saved login credentials to your password manager or personal records for any sites you created account. 

     

     

    Safari on Mac

    • As a precaution, verify you have saved login credentials to the Passwords application, your password manager, or personal records for any sites you have an account. 
    • Choose Safari > Settings

    Click Privacy, and Manage Website Data.

    Select the affected website from the list shown and click Remove.

    Firefox

    • If you are concerned about losing login information or getting signed out of other sites, verify that the checkboxes for 'Cookies and site data' is unselected before clicking Clear Now.
    • As a precaution, verify you have saved login credentials to your password manager or personal records for any sites you created account.

     

     

    Microsoft Edge

    • For Windows, on your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
    • For Mac, on your keyboard, press Command + Shift + Delete
    • Select the longest time range ("All time"). Make sure the "Cached images and files" option is checked before clicking Clear now.
